Project Proposal

Five jobs I observed that I would be interested in are: Deputy Director of Development at the Philadelphia Art Museum: This job seems to involve a lot of task management and probably has a hand in most of the other departments within the museum. I think It would be interesting to have a job that allowed you to constantly be able to see the way things work and come to fruition within a company. Manager of Special Events at the Kimmel Center: This job is administrative, but a huge aspect of it seems to involve budgeting and organizing while remaining cool under pressure. I believe I would be good in a position like this. It would also be interesting to be able to focus on many short term projects or events due to the quick nature of this job. When I read things I tend to assess them based on what the message of the piece is. If the piece takes a stance against or for something, I tend to try to assess what my stance is first and what I know about the topic and then highlight where I agree and disagree with them. I also try to figure out what their level or knowledge on the subject is compared to mine. I look for evidence and fact to back of certain points of view. What I learned about annotations after today is that it’s a great idea to organize your annotations u...

Introduction

Hey! My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Liz. I'm from Philadelphia but I've lived in Ohio and Virginia for a few years at a time. I spend as much time as I can at the beach and try to get out for a hike whenever I can. My favorite TV shows are Game of Thrones, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and the Office. If you need any music or movie suggestions I can always give a good recommendation, too. I love learning new things and I like a good conversation.
