Project Proposal

Five jobs I observed that I would be interested in are:

Deputy Director of Development at the Philadelphia Art Museum: This job seems to involve a lot of task management and probably has a hand in most of the other departments within the museum. I think It would be interesting to have a job that allowed you to constantly be able to see the way things work and come to fruition within a company.

Manager of Special Events at the Kimmel Center: This job is administrative, but a huge aspect of it seems to involve budgeting and organizing while remaining cool under pressure. I believe I would be good in a position like this. It would also be interesting to be able to focus on many short term projects or events due to the quick nature of this job.

Director of Client Relations at the Kimmel Center: Client relations is huge deal for companies and organizations that rely on donations or repeat and higher profile customers. In order to maintain these relationships you would have to interact with a lot of different people which I think would be an interesting but incredible tool to have when it comes to establishing networks.

Talent Consultant at ORS Partners: Aj Arcaini. This company is used by other companies for hiring and hiring consultation. It involves comparing resumes for potential employees, reading emails from both employers and potential employees, as well as writing reports and recommendations to employers . I think I would be good in a position like this because this job also involves a lot of face time with applicants, getting to know them, and making correct judgments.

Leagueside in Philadelphia:A 2 million dollar startup organization dedicated to creating sponsors to fund youth sports. This allows youth teams to find sponsors for equipment for these teams which otherwise would not have access to funding, which is a much needed partnership in some communities. This creates a more positive, safe, and healthy environment for kids who are either at risk or in need of help financially to stay on teams.
